Maggie Jo Design is run by Maggie Jo, a Wisconsin based Furniture Designer and Maker
Her passion for the woodshop started at a young age while working on small scale projects, following the footsteps of her father and grandfather as recreational woodworkers and craftspeople. This lead her to pursue design as a career, and later to attend the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
Maggie’s time at MIAD lead to success in galleries and design shows across the country. After working closely with her mentor and well-known New York furniture designer, Asher Israelow, Maggie won Best in Show at the International Woodworking Fair. This moment would go on to open the door for Maggie to opportunities like being invited to be a part of the Museum of Wisconsin Art’s permanent collection. Maggie is working to create high quality, sustainable, handmade goods.
